If anyone is wondering what other requirements there are to get into L1:

Just in case you guys didn't know and for future reference, this is a L1 license guide I made before. Enjoy and hope it helps in the near future. To actually see how the tracks are played, youtube has the L1 license videos.

L1 License is pretty weird to get. You need the following items:

1. Master of Kart Emblem.
- To get the Master of Kart emblem, you need to get the "Winner," emblem.

- To get the "Winner," emblem you need...
1. Total #1 placement wins at 16% or a total playtime of 4800 min.
2. Total RP of 49000
3. L3 license.
4. At least a week into your account.

Now that you have the "Winners," emblem, you can now get the Master of Kart emblem. The rest of the items are needed for you to get the Master of Kart emblem and the "Winners," emblem was just one piece of it.

1. Red Glove.
2. Winners Emblem (up above)
3. Zerostone Mine Downhill time attack record of 1:35
4. Forest ZigZag time attack record of 2:45
5. Desert (Rotating desert site) time attack record of 2:35
6. Zoomtown Town Fingers time attack record of 1:39.

[Note: The times have to be done in L3 time attack mode.]

So now you have fulfilled all your prerequisites in order for you to go and take on the actual L1 license challenge. Hope this helped for those that play in Korea Kart Rider or for future reference for our own North American version of Kart Rider.

P.S: Also the license is valid for only 30 days and in order to renew your license, you have to test out again.

liscenses look cool. cooler than my real one lol. i wonder if you change characters (like you were able to in the beta) will your picture change.

Antoshi 09-29-2007 02:54 PM

I forget, they have some kind of license thing in the game? I can't remember if I saw...

Oh yeah, that's right, the thing in the beginning is the test for the newbie license. And nobody was allowed to apply for higher ones since it wasn't out yet. So, what do licenses allow you to do?

Flameking 09-29-2007 02:56 PM

i guess buy certain karts. iunno. All i heard so far is that they let you in certain L number channels.

Antoshi 09-29-2007 03:08 PM

Oh well. I bet like in Project Torque it'll cost money to apply for a higher driver's license. >_>

PathfinderGem 09-29-2007 03:58 PM

yea i believe so, also there is chanels for higher license holders.

Surreal 09-29-2007 10:54 PM

Yeah, if you're lazy and don't want to gain your points then you can just buy the licenses with NX.

RKAddict 09-30-2007 12:09 AM

The only thing they allow is to go into different channels. It doesn't matter for buying items and karts and stuff like that, but it does matter for different channels.

(You go faster in each consecutive channel and each channel also opens up new and harder maps to play)

Yay, just got a green glove. So, are these finalized or are the gloves open to changes?

Anthony 10-19-2007 10:17 PM

I can't wait for those licenses to come out in our KR it'd be so cool. I saw an L3 License test and you had to finish zoomtown under 2:30 pretty easy i guess... Forgot the other tests though

When you list both an RP and glove requirement, is there any reason for that? As far as I knew they mean pretty much the same thing, the glove is just displayed instead of showing everyone's RP directly.

D-f1am3 10-25-2007 09:39 PM

Wow, sucks how newer characters cant play the cool maps with you then =[

InterNational 10-26-2007 04:43 PM

How much money do you need in order to get your L3 licence? I mean, how much does each subsection cost?
