Project KartRider

As you all already know, a game that we all love, have spent time playing, and have enjoyed dearly has been taken away with us with a promise of return. However, Nexon’s misleading statement of taking away the game in order to better it is become more and more obvious as what it truly is, a bluff. This is suggested by the large time period between closed and open beta which resulted in a lack of any sort of update other than scenario mode which was simply copied and translated from Nexon Korea.

So what was Nexon’s reason for taking the game away? Simple. Nexon is a business. Like any other business, all their actions are money-motivated. So why would a business take KartRider away and not quickly return it back like the majority of its other games? Again, simple. Nexon doesn’t forsee a profitable response from its customers for the game.

However, this view is obviously incorrect. A large amount of players are still eagerly awaiting the game’s arrival. That is what this thread is for. Nexon needs to be shown, not from one person randomly at a time trying to make spam posts on its forums (many unsuccessful attempts have been made), but from an organized community, that a large group of people are still interested in KartRider.

How to do this? Well, this is where you come in. One person cannot make a difference in Nexon’s mind. One person cannot capture Nexon’s attention. One person cannot convince a company to start selling its product again. If that one person is alone. This thread will serve as the basis for our ideas, our communication, our organization, and hopefully, our eventual success.

If you have any ideas, any ideas at all, no matter how stupid they may sound at first (well, don’t get too stupid), share them with the community. Discuss them with us. In addition, if you feel compelled to do so, post your KartRider history in Alex’s thread (found here). We may be able to find some use for that.

Petition
Your KartRider History

Get a couple thousand people to stand and protest outside of nexons main office for them to bring it back.

I rlly don't think theres anything we can do now, there are very very very few ppl who still care enough to really want to do something. So unless we can do something drastic like that or this forum and others explode with thousands of active people I don't think they will care.

With the bad economy right now its even less likely for them to do anything, they closed audition and are now doing the exact same shit to the Sugar Rush players(who hated us for spamming their forums at first, I think they understand now) as they did to us, probably due to there not being enough paying players to make it profitable to host the games.

Someone just needs a make a private server for us to play on, I don't think it would be that hard.

1. get as much ppl as possible for support..outside of this forums!!
2. getting into the NAKR forums and make it look alive..only a few ppl in there are keeping it active.
I beleive nexon monitors this forums but its just a couple of ppl not making any progress. But im glad they are still there. We should be there every now and then too.

That Sugar Rush thing plays to our advantage actually. Or at least Alex's. But I was fairly cynical about his idea; I'll let him explain it to you all when he's ready.

My idea? Everyone makes personal fan signs and hold them up to a camera, they don't have to show their face, just the sign. Have it say, "First_name wants KartRider back" (i.e. Davis wants KartRider back) Shows how many real live individuals care for the game.

^ If enough people do that, I can also make some small youtube like commercial out of it :D

Alright, I suggest you make a separate thread for it, and after that, I'll post a link to it in this thread. That way, we can use this for our organization and link to all our ideas. I also think we should make a petition, as useless as it may be. It honestly would just serve as an addendum to our stronger ideas.

Obviously, this is our last chance. If you want to, you can give up and move on with your life, or you can help us with our last effort. If this doesn't work, I will be giving up too, but it's worth a try.
