hay !
i guess lot of people would ask this before... But except some good videos, i found nothing to really help me. :s
I want to learn multi boost....
i practiced a lot to master double boost quite well now.
optimized drift and such, cutting, and even mirror are quite easy actually.
but the real fast and useful multi boost (3-4 boost at least i mean)
with double drift before still seems far from my skills....
can someone who mastered it explain me something about this one?
many thanks anyway, and sorry for my english. (i'm a french dude) :shifty:
Yeah It's hard... I know double and sometimes I even make triple or quad but not more... and it's because I'm lucky...
I think it's about timing and not about something else...
When I tried to master cutting I couldn't do it well 'cause my timing was wrong, but I trained on it and then I became much better.
Just try to work on it at the last rookie license track.

Follow this guide, just scroll down to multi boost. Watch the vids also because they give the keypresses:

Yeah I agree its hard even more in races.. I can do 20+ multis in drift entry but in races I usually get to near to the walls and I mess up my multi after 2-3.. Sometimes it works sometimes not. this is where practice gets into , remember when you first tried double you would be able to make one out of 10 or so and now prlly your able to do them all the time.

Thats because for every curve, the multi-drifts are different.
IMO Freeways a good map to practice :D
start with an optimized first drift then keep multin o.O un optimized goes around in a smaller circle i think idk lulz it works for me

This is how I learn my multi drift. It really helps. =) Go to 4:23. Look at the picture and movement carefully.

it's why you practice every turn untill you get the feel of it

Anyone master link drift, mirror drift, dubble boost?
Mirror drift is easy to master.
I can double whenever I want, But I'm not a master because the doubles could always be faster.
... I see little point in learning to link

I think the 3rd drift and boost are the same as the 2nd ones. Good luck!!

What is the best drift?
A1Coffee
05-13-2008, 09:35 PM
there is no best drift...there is a drift that is good for a certain turn depending on your strategy
and basically when you multi
you just do a Dbl boost except instead of pressing UP after you finish
press Right + Shift and keep doing so
or left + Shift w/e direction your in

This one is excellent for me. I instantly learned how to double properly. I only learnt last week. Hope it works for you. And if you ever decide to make videos like me, and your drifts aren't so good, don't let people's sometimes negative comments get to you. They aren't even trying to help you. Basically they are saying "You're a noob! Haha! I want you to stay that way." When they say negative comments, it doesn't help you. They don't tell or want you to improve. Only listen to constructive comments.
I know that went a little off-topic there. I have discovered that people are saying really negative and useless comments that won't help me on youtube and it's pissing me off. My problems shouldn't be on this thread but I need to let off some steam. Sorry.

That video is great. I like how it shows what it looks like when it works and when it doesn't so you know if you are close. Cool practice spot too. Wish this was on the anyone can drift guide.
