Gifts from GMs (Popkart)

Welcome to my GM gifts guide. In Popkart (probably KKR too?), GMs give you gifts at certain dates.

Here is the list I have from Popkart. All these items were not rewards of a quest/scenario, but were obtained as soon as I logged online during a certain date. All Popkart players obtains the same gifts during that specific day.

Switch Cards (100x): Recieved on Feb. 10, 2007
-Allows you to switch the places of two items in Item Mode.

Mission Bonus Bag (10x): Recieved on Feb. 18, 2007
-When a race begins and you have this item, a chance of a "mission" will be set on the bottom left corner (finish 1st, get team perfect, etc), if completed you recieve extra Lucci and RP.

Mission Bonus Bag (10x): Recieved on Feb. 19, 2007
-When a race begins and you have this item, a chance of a "mission" will be set on the bottom left corner (finish 1st, get team perfect, etc), if completed you recieve extra Lucci and RP.

#1 Finger Balloon (100x): Recieved on Feb 20, 2007
-Turns missle effects into banana effects at a certain success rate. Also obtaining a small amount of Lucci if successful.

Mystpole Factory Plate (365 days): Recieved on Aug. 01, 2007
-No comment.

Wrench Baton (15 days): Recieved on Aug. 06, 2007
-Gives you bonus (forgot how much).

Mystpole Headband (15 days): Recieved on Aug. 12, 2007
-Wards off UFOs at a certain success rate.

Brodi Balloon (50x): Recieved on Aug. 17, 2007
-Turns missle effects into banana effects at a certain success rate. Also obtaining a small amount of Lucci if successful.

Anything before what I have, I wasn't around, so I don't have info of those.

I don't know if NAKR GMs will do the same, or even give gifts for that matter. But, Popkart GMs do infact give gifts. Maybe it'll help you guys think "Oh my god... NAKR GMs are so lame!" :wink:

The Gold Scenario gives you tons of balloons, and GMs are pretty generous when it comes to balloons. Although, it hasn't been a gift in quite a while.

mean if your hit by a missile xx times the balloon bursts or something?

Other than that the GMs are very generous O.o would be awesome
if they did that for NAKR :D

All Balloons have a certain amount of hits they can take.

Once the Balloon protects you that many times, it pops for good and you can't use it anymore.

Yes. A "100x Balloon" will block 100 missles before it pops for good. After it is all used up, it will still stay in your inventory, but marked as 0x. When a balloon is marked 0x, it is unusable and unwearable anymore. Basically it just takes space and you need to delete it by yourself.

Balloons - Chance of resisting missiles
Batons - RP or Lucci bonus at the end of a race
Pets - Chance of blocking missiles

Pets give random +0~100% Lucci too, I forgot if this applied to all pets?

Were you already registered in Popkart at that given time? Because for items like the headband and balloons, I saw plenty of people wearing that same item too. I didn't do any quests to obtain it.

Were you already registered in Popkart at that given time? Because for items like the headband and balloons, I saw plenty of people wearing that same item too. I didn't do any quests to obtain it.
I've been registered for months now. I guess Nexon hates me.

Were you registered before or after August? If after, check to see if you recieved the Yellow Paint, Bonus Card and Mos.

Nexon distributes it tho, which is why it says "Nexon" when starting up, then goes into TianCity.

It was a thanksgiving event and like you said it gave something only if you logged on at that day. That baton gives 10% more lucci or something

You only get them if you we're already registered then. Otherwise, you won't.

You get a Lunar New Year Balloon (5x) each day you log on until Febuary 12.

As much as I disagree with his tone, I think he's right. I started a new account and did a couple of quests and got the same three "gifts" from a GM. I think the gifts are rather due to quest completion than generosity on a GM's part.

Whatever. Either way, a GM implements them into the game to give to users. Thats a lot better than what Nexon does, and a lot more often too.

I don't mind people giving feedback, but I don't need it given to me in that way.
