Just to get rid of any confusion and about some update:

Several bots are back and post spammy threads, most of them with a link in the title. They also tend to bump old threads with generic answers just to make their junk-signature pop up.

The best you can do right now is to ignore them, and please don't click any link in their posts!

Since I resigned from moderation due to inactivity (and thinking we fixed the bot spam issue forever with some stricter registration process), I can't delete the posts right now, but I reported them all.
I also contacted DaFlameking to go through the reports, or give me rights to delete the spam again. He didn't reply yet, neither here nor on Skype, so I'm not sure where he is, and I don't know other ways to contact him.

Even while KE is pretty inactive in general, there's no reason to let it go down the spam drain.

EDIT: Looks like DFK was here at least on 2th February and cleaned up the spam, but there's already new one...

They are persistent little buggers and not effective in what they do. I'm still checking and cleaning up. Don't mention them and their robots will stop checking here to post.

Nearly the entire first page of the Off-Topic Lounge is filled with them, which is what my Sheesh post is (was) all about, haha!
