Soo I am thinking about a guild.... have some questions

So yeah, Ive bin playing kartrider for a few weeks, and ive decided
that it would be more fun to join a guild. Now thats all well and good
except that I have two problems:

1. My computer. Simply put its a piece of trash, 5 years old and just about
runs kartrider, my card is a ATI Radeon 7500 so that is ok, the
problem is my processor. It usually overheats and turns off my comp,
but ive taped a heatsink onto it and that doesnt happen anymore.

Only problem is that I cant play item mode, and in speed mode
it can get laggy for 5 seconds on some tracks and screw me up.

2. Second problem is more of a question. Most guilds requires you
to attach their initials to the front of your name, and what I want
to know is, can you change your name? Or do I have to make a
completely new account and start from scratch?

Join carbon go to carbonteam.co.nr it doesnt matter if ur comp is slow just as long as u with us :)..sorry but u do need to remake ur account, but u can send gifts fom ur account now to ur new one. and sometimes i lag like that too...

The biggest 3 guilds are A1, NPX, and PROTL. Most other guilds are pretty small or filled with noobs, so if you're really good, you might want to look in to one of those. Although it is nice to join guilds other than those three, just so that other guilds are given a chance, because alot of these new guilds have like less than 10 members. PROTL, A1, and NPX have been around since closed beta, they've all got many members. Carbon is basically the kartextreme guild, none of them are that good but they are all trying to improve. By the way, I get that same kind of lag, really irritating.

If I go into item, it lags me out. If I go into speed, I get pretty bad lag sometimes and then it goes away, or I just keep having really bad lag, and end up logging on, playing a few games, and logging off again.

edit: also, A1/NPX/PROTL are all an alliance, so it's a larger community of good racers that you can be around, since mostly everyone in those guilds are friends, there are a few disconnections.
