I believe when I played Maplestory Adventures, there was no actual (PVP) context as in you could see your friends while you play because it was a flash game. I think we shall see the same in this with this Facebook game offering just 1 player support with us just competing for faster times among friends.

It's a start but if it becomes like I predict, we should all submit for multiplayer support, not NAKR. They'll realize they can't do this within Facebook Flash limitations.

Honestly, Nexon is just trolling us at this point. As there is now KartRider for iOS and Facebook in North America now, the PC version coming back is inevitable.

When he says PvP, I'm thinking ghosts. I don't want to be such a debbie downer but thats my thinking as far as games on facebook goes. I don't play much of them but from my experience of the ones Ive played, thats the closest they'll go.

relying on the game screenshots posted on the facebook fan page, it would seem that the game is gonna be race limited with 'fuel' kind of like mostly every other facebook games outthere where you have to pay with real $$$ if you wanna play more than a few times a day ... LAME

I am still excited. If KartRider Dash receives a huge response from the community, Nexon will probably bring back NAKR. I think this is a test where if KartRider Dash doesn't meet certain expectations set by Nexon, then they will never bring it back.

Lets put it this way. It's not the kr that I've been waiting for.
It's a very sped up and dumbed down version of it.

Making me rebind my keys manually because they don't let you use numpad+right ctrl/shift is beyond stupid.
Making me wait till lvl 3 to play speed pissed me off but whatever, didn't take long.
The speed you go in a practice kart is absurd, it's PRO level at least.

They fcked up drifting pretty badly.
You can still double/combo/whathaveyou but it's pointless after the first turn.
Once you get a boost, you'll have two the entire race, every drift while you're boosting = another one.
It's like you're in an FXT.. but they last longer than if you were in a PXT... ya.

Plus! They ripped a lap off every fucking map. Why?!
Who wants to play a 1 lap freeway that you finish in a minute? :(

The only redeeming factor is that I can now tell people who actually understand me how awful they are at baby's first kartrider.

It seems like all the other rides are casual, VERY CASUAL, riders. In the first 5 hours, I won every race because everyone just drove and didnt even drift and even so they were still terrible in turning simple corners. I've noticed that the practice kart has been wrecking every other kart. Hopefully they will fix this.

Speed mode. What the heck? No one ever drift in that game. Everyone just drive all the way. I'm always the first. This is boring as heck. Why do I have to play someone that is below my level.

So they seem to have adjusted boost gain. They still last a year but you don't get a full one every turn.
Kinda sucks as having unlimited boosts was the only thing that made all these awful item maps you're forced to play fun :(

I had the same problem, I'm using the dot for nitro now instead of the right ctrl button, which was only working in 2/3 of the races for me. But with the dot its fine.

In the how to play section in the game, it shows that they locked the right hand controls to , . and /

You can't remap the controls but only use the pre defined left hand and right hand controls. I think they did this because they noticed a group of players using laptops and its really hard to actually play if it were those controls on the right.

It just makes your numpad act as your arrows, and your right shift/ctrl act as if they were the left ones.
It doesn't stop the arrows from working normally.

Isn't it irritating? Was fine when 1 fat drift = 1 boost but now that it's not and you can't double/combo/etc like you could in normal it's not even fun anymore :(

Lol, I put that in every box that asked your opinion. "What don't you like about Kartrider Dash?" - It's not NAKR(among other things). "What do you like about Kartrider Dash?" - It reminds me of NAKR...BRING BACK NAKR!! lol x3

hi, sorry to revive a somewhat old thread but i thought you may care about my impression of the game
regarding what people have been saying about people being total noobs
people not talking
people not drifting
always winning
beginner kart always winning

i was playing vs bots 90% of the time, maybe you guys did not realize but you were playing bots most of the time (and really bad bots too)... if you dont believe me, how can you explain the fact that mostly nobody ever drifted (too noob you say? then why do they dont hit wall 90% of the time?)

other observation, none of the bots ever had noob karts or dao, how many times did you see dao or noob karts? ... probably only when you played real players (i may be wrong about this)

ofcourse what im saying is probably a little hard for you guys to digest right now, especially now that the beta is over ... but you could always read the comments on the facebook page to see im not the only one that noticed i was playing bots

It was random whenever you were playing against ALL bots and maybe a 1-2 REAL Live players and the rest are bots.

90% of my races were against an entire lobby of bots. There were a few times where people were actually good or better than me in drifting and chaining boosts. There were times as well as people chatted. But these were not often enough.

Its been almost a month since closed beta ended and they have said not a word about open beta. DOA again!? NEXON's silence always brings bad memories from the original PC open beta here in the U.S.A. It is a business anyways. If they see no profit, they will just kill it. I think the weakest part of NEXON is their marketing. They hardly promote games and expect their fan base to run the word. That's what killed the 1st KR. Not too many people knew about it.
