So far I can only do it 60% of the time.
So I haven't really mastered it yet 8)
For some reason its kind of harder when your in a race with people because of the pressure and bumping going on :(
By the way any tips?

I think it's easier during the race since you're getting pulled if you're not in first. This takes away some of the pressure.

I've watch all videos on youtube of Kart Rider and read much information on drifts guides. It took me about a few days to get use to Double Boosting, or is it Double Drifting? Anyway, I haven't mastered it yet but I will eventually. It's because it seems more harder to do when racing. :(

When I read the title of this thread, I thought it said "How long did it take you to masterbate?"
No jokes.
Anyways, I haven't mastered it yet....
I can do a normal boost, though.
That's right, I'm pro.

Yeah, it's not just harder in a race cause of pressure, but also because of the different turns and feel of the turn.
If you can do it a bit, I suggest you go into that 30 second rookie license test where you have to get an n2o within 30 seconds. Don't worry about that part, just start trying to double boost around. It'll help you get a lot better. Then when you're playing real matches, try double boosting a lot of the turns. You'll have it down soon.
That's how I got good at combo boosting. By going into that 30 second thing for like 10 minutes every day and practicing 5 minutes on both sides.

^ Its actually 60 seconds (1 minute), not 30.
Sorry to correct you. Anyways.
Yes, in Rookie Liscence - Drift Entry.
Thats where I practice my drifts.

I just go and do time attack alot, or just practice online. The drift test track doesnt really help me that much, I need to practice on the real tracks.

Yeah, exactly! When I'm in the zone during a race, I do it unexpectedly!

I haven't mastered double boost yet.
When I can do link whenever I wanted to, I'd have mastered db.

Actually, it use to be 30. It's 60 now(Use it daily just so I don't get rusty on DB, Cont, ect).
And bleh. It took me a day. Once I started observing videos on DB and watched what parts I wasn't doing correctly, I finally got it. :D Though, it took me a few days finally to do it every time I try. Every few(3 out of 20?) I mess up on. So It's not completely mastered, but still good.

Yeah, Nexon changed it to 60 seconds for no apparent reason. If you can't get an n2o within 30 seconds within a few tries, then you should go ahead and quit this game before you even start IMO.

how come it seems as if i practice every weekend (cuz i'm not allowed to play weekdays) and yet i still fail.
i've been forced to utilize a crappy weird drift link thing... you can see it in my video vs DPL. just search youtube for DPL vs HaK
but yea... i'll upload a video soon just to show everyone and ask what i'm doing wrong.

I learned it in..... 4 days. Took a while too. your probably holding up still when your doing the 2nd drift. just do
1st drift: ^ > shift
2nd drift right after: > shift (notice you release up right before you start drift)
Boost: (quickly press ^ then right after do 2nd boost ^)

Sounds like I'm a slow learner. I'm already at 1 finger yellow and I can't boost consistently. (I can boost, just not consistently yet. ) ... I'll go play in the drift practice tomorrow. Thanks for the info.
