Potential system for KR

I noticed there was some sort of kart upgrade system where you used a black box to upgrade your kart. Can anyone shed some light on this? My character now has two glowing boxes beside it.

yea and I don't know the specifics I did get mine to work and you have to pick the kart it only works on that kart I got 3 things seems like nitros with a sucessfull maginet and cuts through water bubble idk what the 3rd i have is mabey disable fly but i have pet that does that too seems like item stuff and I think its random possibly 1 time per lap hopfully some one can shed some light on it but you will have 2 glowing things on the back of your kart at the start of a race and it gives you a notice in blue box at the start too idk how to tell you to do it I just played around and got it to work......

The black box is called the "floater";
equip to your kart and use with the "floater vitalization kit" (the thing looks like giant round glass test tube),
and they give 2 capacities randomly to your kart. (3 if your are lucky with zero spanner.)
Also the fancy-looking spanner is called the "zero spanner";
it initializes the capacities if you don't like them,
and you can get new capacities using initialized floater with a floater vitalization kit again.
(Floater and floater vitalization kit are Lucci, but zero spanner is real money.)

* The octagon graph about the kart information says that:
Connering / Speed
Stability / Booster power
Balance / Booster volume
Strengten power / Gauge charge amount

I think the two glowing box beside of the kart means that the kart is upgraded by the floater.
(I didn't and don't want to upgrade my karts because I like original.)

So you use the black box item on a kart on some special page in the client.

Then, you use the space-ship like thing.

If you don't like the upgrades the box made to your kart, you can try again by using the wrench to delete the space ship thing and use another spaceship on it.

It really isn't worth the money for those upgrades. Besides, even if you upgrade let's say speed of your kart, some other elements on the kart will be reduced/downgraded, e.g. +speed -stability, +stability -corner speed.
