at 1:12 in the second video (NPXlTaco), is that a cutting drift?

Also, is using nos on the first turn worth it?

And finally, is 2:23:xx the fastest for practice kart?

Yes, it's a cutting drift. Using nos on the first turn is worth it if you're good at the combo boosts afterwards. And 2:23:XX is the fastest time I've seen for a practice kart; however I'm 100% sure that better is possible.

So I'm blaming my poor time on my multi-boost and cutting drifts. Ideally, how many mph should multi-boost be getting and are there any other common mistakes people make? Getting stuck at 2:27 with E2 Solid and wondering how to improve my time. Unfortunately, I don't have a video of myself playing, so the most I can ask for is common errors that people make.

I'm not really sure what a good speed is with a Solid E2 (I'll go and check out mine later though). But you'll definitely know if you're doing good combo boosts or not. It's pretty obvious.

And one of the common errors people make is bad double boosts and bad combo boosts, so just compare yours to the pros in videos, and make sure yours doesn't slow you down too much.
