View Full Version : Nexon Pumping out the Ads

If you guys have seen the magazine stands lately, you would know that Nexon is striving hard at spreading the word about Kart Rider. Heck, their advertisements look more appealing (game wise) than the Maple Story ads. So far I've seen them only on the gaming magazines, such as EGM, Gamepro and i think Nintendo power.

I'll try to get a scan of it sometime but has anyone else who reads magazines notice them? I guess this Open Beta is kind of a real release for Kart Rider. :lol:

Thats pretty sick. We need more people that play Speed mode at night. Hopefully this fixes that.

Bazzi's all over the place in KartRider, but we don't actually have him yet.

Speaking of which, he and Uni better be in this next patch.

You forgot the Game Informer one. It also has the '160 million global players!' thing going on, but shows an ITEM KART RACE (Eeeeew... JK the item racers). It owns the MS ad.

In other words, yeah, I like the advertising. I think Nexon is just using MS to fund KR now (for now at least...), since it has a lot more potential in America than MS (Let's face it, having an option to WIN appeals to Americans more than just grinding all day for hours on end). Also, the bulletin ad = WIN! Nice picture.

Some guy on the bus had a magazine that I saw recently with a different ad on the back. I was like "wtf, is that bazzi?" and i looked closer and it was. =O

KartRider isn't really like the Maple Story commercials, since it's not from the same type of media o_O. This is ads on Magazine and Billboards, while the ones on TV are sort of different, I guess they are better at using Billboards than Television ads xD (They as in Nexon)
