A New Quest is coming right after the patch today!!! Its a Halloween Quest to collect pumpkins and in return, receive a special Halloween themed prize.

I think its hidden in the tracks and once you race on them it shows you that you found one of them

Oh so what you're saying is that it'll be invisible, but when we pass through one of them, it'll list after the race?

I havn't been online yet to make a better conclusion, but I think it might just be completely random. I mean, when you finish the track, the game might randomly decide whether you found a pumpkin or not. I don't think they actually made it so complicated that they put invisible pumpkins on the track, but I could be wrong.

I've found them twice in speed mode, both times it looked random to me cause I didn't see it in advance, it just flashed up over my character's head for a bit.

So the highest chance of getting them is by racing a lot? Cool. I shall get a lot soon.

Yea they are random. I think you get a better chance finding them by drifting. I found both of mine like that. Iuno maybe you could find it without drifting

I completed this within 2 and a half hours of racing. The hat is gay though, but it looks cool on chunk.

Hahahah I see how it is. I was running around in item mode, running into the item boxes (which are pumpkins) thinking they would count, and then when I only found 5 after the race I was like "wtf". Well, I guess it'll take a little while then.

It's just random.
You get them racing, you'll notice
I pumpkin appears above your head and you hear some weird noise when you get one.

What do you mean by getting them is it on the floor and you have to go towards it?

nu nu nu, you just race and all of a sudden (after nothing happened, no running over anything) a pumpkin comes out of your kart and above your head making a noise. Then after the race, you can look at your quest data, and you will have one more pumpie

In item mode, you get them from running through the item boxes, and on the occassion you will get one. You can't just get them anywhere on the track in item mode. It's just random if you get one when you run into an item box.

People actually play item mode? I forgot it even existed for a while there!

But yeah, you get them somewhat randomly. Some people can finish the quest in a couple hours, others, like me, get two in three hours. It's all random... Which makes me want to scream. It"s my item mode luck all over again!

Item is fun when you get bored. Speed is for normal play. Blocking with speed = so much fun. You will never get bored off it. Trying to avoid them as well as blocking others makes this game enjoyable, IMO.

its hard to tell the people with the hats on which team since you could hardly see thier team colour
