Today I went on a blocking spree. Right when I logged in I clicked single speed mode and looked for mesa. I got one and start blocking on the ramp a few times. they got tired of my blocking so kicked me.

I then went to team speed and RK was there too. On a different team.the map was woodland. He said it waws going to be his last race so he decided to block. On the second he hit me on the rope bridge and knocked me into the water. Instant K.OI knew I wasnt gonna make it anymore so I decided to block with him. I blocked a couple of people on the bridge and some didn't make.

Last Story. This was in pyramid mesa and I found out one of my teamates had infinite boost.3 of us, 2 blue and 1 red(Me) decided to block anyone who tried to jump the ramp. I knocked Roflpancakes the hacker a couple of times and he came 4th place. Blue won.

Sometimes my friends and I play this game. It's called blockers vs. racers. 4 blocks vs. 4 racers. We choose a map, and set a specific time for one of them to get. The blockers have to block the racers so they don't get that time. We do that on forest a lot, that's how I got good at blocking there :D

But it doesn't really matter, you could make a way for team too. But single is better just in case blue team is blocking and red team is not. Since we're all friends, we don't normally perfect each other.

6 people were blocking 2 people were racing. All of us lined up at the bridge in that one woodland map (The non-zigzag one). The two racers each got times of 8:37 and like 8:38. It was so much fun!

Is blocking like....you let someone in your team get into first, then block the track so nobody else can get past, making your team win?

I havent seen that many blockers like closed beta but if you're blocking, at least have the decency to say that your gonna be annoying and make exceptions to people who dont want to be blocked plz =/

^ Err....I doubt anyone in the whole game wants to be blocked, meaning if people went by your rules there would be no blocking at all. Let people have their fun...it's just a game afterall. Leave the room and find another one if you get sick and tired of certain people blocking.

No, they don't have to go first and you don't have to be on a team. You can just be a d*ck and find the spot you want to block. So when the people hit lap 2 and 3 you block them like a d*ck.

They just try to avoid you so it really depends on skill

Introducing... the beginner's blocking guide!

If you're new, here's an easy way to block (with pumpkin E2s, of course!):

When walls are close together, ram back and forth, and later on, you can slow down at the right moment so your opponent's messed up. You have to readjust yourself sometimes, though, but it can work... AS LONG AS YOU MIX UP YOUR TIMING AND SPEED!

When walls are far apart: get some n20, then ram into the opponent at the right time. It's not as newbie friendly, but it can be quite effective... Although on Mesa's ramp, readjusting their course works better so they fly off/hit edge, instead of being able to know that they won't make it, and slow down off the ramp. Try keeping their momentum while changing their course in that case, and watch as they flyyyyyyy into the abyss!


...The practice, get good, and find better techniques. That is all.

There's a better blocking map. It's that cemetary map. I found three areas that you can block to fuck people up.

Zig Zag is a horrible map for blocking because if someone blocks you you'll surely fail your crash since the road is quite narrow. Anyways i've been block and rammed many times a that new cemetery map , i forgot the name. Well i went for the shortcut where you jump to the other ramp and some guy hit my kart half way and i fell down. Well that's not really blocking though.

I always tend to get blocked when i use n2o and then someone just pops their kart infront of mine.

Nah, I really think Woodland is the best blocking map until Finger.

But it's just my opinion I guess. The cemetary map is pretty easy to block on too, but woodland is just amazing. You can use the glitches to your advantage.

1 - straight way after first turn, you can n2o at someone from outside the map
2 - before ramp, so they can't get onto ramp
3 - on gigantic log, slows them down like hell
4 - right as they fall from the log, if you have good aiming skills you can n2o or make them land on you, really screwing them up
5 - those two log things, you can pretty much block anywhere in here when they try to get through the small cracks
6 - rope bridge thing; VERY easy to hit them into water
7 - wooden bridge thing before finish line; n2o from other side and pop them into water. you can also stand right next to that little edge where they come and hit them.

I wasn't really blocking, but on the Creepy Hollow Map, the simple one, triangle. The gate where it opens and closes, I got hit my that Rofl, then I got stuck in the middle and everyone was bumped back XDD chain reaction lol, accidental bump ftw
