Well i'm just curious. Is it better to hold shift longer when you turn or just let it go once your finish turning?

tap it for most drifts...
u-turn let go when you finish the drift

Yep, the faster the better.. just a quick tap unless it's a u-turn.

Quick multiboosts. You wouldn't want long and slow multi - boosts would you ?
You want that quick speed no2 gaining with the boosts.

If you don't tap when you're multiboosting then your car will rock back and forth = not fast. It's also a lot easier to multi if you tap... easier to control.

Depending on the turn since in popkart's maps you have to adjust to each map T_T
