I drift :p
I thing non drifters are noobs
I don't like non drifting. It's too slow. When I'm walking in a straight road without a N2O, I drift anyway...

mmm actually,
in Rookie NAKR, if you got a E2 and know how to do perfect easyplay or non drifting build, you can get very good times on races.
of course far from pros like donuts getin 2:17' freeway single.
but how many guys in NAKR can get less than 2:22 in TA freeway?not so much.... so non drifting makes you win easily. most of the time.
anyway, when L3 comes out or R4-Pro karts, then drifting is A big obligation to win.

non-drifting is for lazy ppl that want to win without skills.
sure you get good times. But so what? This is now, where there's not that much difference in non-drifting and drifting. Later on, without the skill and the base, you're gonna get owned.

This post doesn't say for speed or item mode. If you drift in item mode, you're stupid.

Actually drifting in items mode can be beneficial to you. For example in L3 or L2 , it involved alot of turns such as U turns. If you don't drift you would go straight to the wall or you could slow down than turn. But drifting is much better.

Well yeah obviously you'd drift in sharp turns and U turns. But you don't hardcore drift like you do in speed mode.

Doesn't drifting the entire time slow you down?

Depends if the track has a lot of tight turns or not.

geting good at drifting is the ONLY way to catch the real "power" and "adrenalyne" of this game....
"catch my drift"
item is for fun or casual gaming.
I play item when there's no speed games open...
