All I do is just drive as best as I can, but you don't need to drift at all. If you just drive normally, you should beat him with about a second to spare.

It's easy , i beat him really easily. Try not to drift it helps.

If I don't drift, he just Nitros at the end and zooms past me

Stick to the inside I mean really stick to the inside you SHOULD if you did it properly get enough room between you and him to win him.
Also it helps if you do boost start, boost start and sticking to the edges helps alot.

Don't drift, stick to the inside of the track. That race was really easy to me.

I think I drifted like on the last two turns.
I sucked at that one too.

I second this.
For 1-9, do not drift at all.
Even if for a second that mos is in fornt, forget him and just stick to the walls.
Also, that method just be best for item mode as well.

I barely drift unless i'm losing real bad. Drifting wastes about 1 second cause it drifts but if you stick in the inside and turn normally then it wont take long.

If you drift well, right before you pick yourself up again press up; should give you a short boost that makes up for that one second that you supposedly lost. You save loads of time on corners. PRACTICE =]

Get a N2O during the first lap, but don't use it! Hug the wall for the rest of the race, and before the finish and use the nitro there. It should work.

I did the same strategy as Cheese.
I basically charged up one N2O, afterwards, I hugged close to the inside wall and slowly overtook him slightly by the middle of the third lap, and then afterwards held my position and finished with the N2O at the very end.
It took me a couple tries, don't worry, you'll get the hang of it soon enough :P
