Drifting

I keep drifting too sharply and I end up facing backwards...How do I stop doing that?

Tap Shift, or just don't hold it down for more than a second.
I usually tap the Shift key as I turn when I wanna drift, I never hold it down.

Letting go of the directional Arrow key.

Don't let go of the up key.

ohoh, I just finished a drift track. Well, not really but anyways!
You could try pressing the opposite arrow key after you let* go of Shift to get yourself lined (well, I mean straight ...).
